Terms and Conditions

1. About Bay17

Bay17 Indoor Golf & Social Club is located at Building 17, Weedon Depot, Northamptonshire, NN7 4PS. By making a booking, attending the venue, purchasing a membership, participating in coaching, competitions or events, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability. The individual making the booking is responsible for ensuring all members of their group comply with these Terms & Conditions. Bay17 reserves the right to refuse bookings at its discretion.

3. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. All prices displayed are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will receive a full refund or booking credit. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours are non-refundable. No-shows will not receive a refund or credit.

Bookings may be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice and are subject to availability.

5. Late Arrivals

Your booking time includes arrival and departure. Late arrivals may result in reduced playing time and do not entitle the customer to an extension, refund or credit.

6. Bay Capacity & Guests

Bay17 recommends a maximum of four players per bay unless otherwise agreed. Spectators and guests are welcome provided they comply with venue rules and do not compromise safety.

7. Simulator & Equipment Use

Customers must use all simulator equipment responsibly and follow instructions from Bay17 staff. Only one person may swing a club at a time. Customers must ensure all other persons are clear before taking a shot.

8. Damage & Liability for Equipment

Customers may be held responsible for the repair or replacement cost of any equipment, furniture, fixtures or fittings damaged through reckless, deliberate or negligent behaviour. This includes TrackMan systems, projectors, screens, computers, mats and venue furnishings.

9. Alcohol Policy

Alcohol may only be consumed if purchased from Bay17 unless
otherwise authorised. Bay17 operates a Challenge 25 policy. Proof of age may be requested.

Bay17 reserves the right to refuse service, refuse entry or terminate a booking without refund where a customer is intoxicated, abusive or behaving inappropriately.

10. Food & Drink

Food and beverages may be consumed throughout the venue. Customers must take reasonable care around simulator equipment. Bay17 currently offers a selection of snacks and beverages.

11. Children & Young Persons

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

12. Coaching & Lessons

Lessons and coaching sessions are subject to coach availability. Coaching cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice unless otherwise agreed directly with the coach.

Bay17 is not responsible for coaching services delivered by self-employed professionals operating from the venue.

13. Membership Terms

Memberships are subject to a minimum six-month commitment unless otherwise stated. Membership benefits are non-transferable. Membership hours must be used within the applicable month and do not roll over unless expressly stated.

Memberships may not be shared between individuals. Failure to make payment may result in the suspension of membership benefits.

14. Competitions & Leagues

Bay17 reserves the right to amend competition formats, handicaps, rules, prizes and entry requirements at any time. Competition entry fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Bay17.

15. Health & Safety

Golf is a physical activity undertaken at the participant’s own risk. Customers should only participate if medically fit to do so. Bay17 accepts no responsibility for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment, failure to follow instructions or the actions of other participants.

16. Personal Property

Customers bring personal belongings to the venue at their own risk. Bay17 accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property unless caused directly by our negligence.

17. Photography & Marketing

Photographs and videos may occasionally be captured within the venue for marketing and promotional purposes. Customers who do not wish to appear should notify a member of staff upon arrival.

18. Accessibility

Bay17 is located on the first floor of a Grade II listed building. Unfortunately, there is currently no lift access. Staff will be happy to assist customers with carrying golf clubs where reasonably possible.

19. Force Majeure

Bay17 shall not be liable for any interruption, cancellation or reduction in service caused by events outside our reasonable control, including power outages, internet outages, equipment failures, severe weather, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.

20. Privacy & GDPR

Bay17 processes personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

21. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to this, Bay17’s liability shall be limited to the value of the booking or membership in question.
